Jennifer played the character of Rachel Green, a popular person from a fairly privaledged background. She joined Ross Gellar (David Schwimmer), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc), Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry) and Monica Gellar (Courteney Cox) to make up a tight knit group of friends around whom the show focused.
The show ran for ten years, first airing in 1994 and finishing in 2004. During this time the cast matured and the show covered many major topics. It is still one of the more popular television shows and each of the cast members have continued with new acting roles.
