Jennifer Aniston to hand out an Oscar

London: Former Friends actress Jennifer Aniston has been tapped to serve as a presenter at this year's Academy Awards.

While the Derailed star, who has starred in more than 13 films, has attended the big show several times in the past, this will be the first time she will present the coveted gold statuettes.

The ex-wife of actor Brad Pitt will join other big presenters, the names of which have been already announced, like Luke Wilson, Hilary Swank and Morgan Freeman.

The 78th annual Academy Awards will be held at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre on March 5.
